The property will be offered in two tracts at the December 6th auction. According to the local Farm Service Agency, this property contains 153 +/- tillable acres. The predominant soil types are Drummer silty clay loam & Elburn silt loam and the Productivity Index (P.I.) is 141.6. The topography ranges from nearly level to gently sloping and the real estate taxes paid in 2019 were $6,728.66. The 2019 corn crop yielded 208 bushels per acre despite being planted nearly 6 weeks later than normal. The 2018 soybean crop yielded an astounding 87 bushels per acre, which shows the potential of the farm when weather conditions are more ideal.
