Dwight Raab, Consultant

Dwight Raab is a consultant with The Loranda Group and is recognized as a leading expert on farmland assessment.

Dwight possesses a wealth of experience and expertise in the valuation of Midwestern farmland and traditional land, and he developed both education programs and management analysis software to assist extension management consultants in counseling Illinois farmers. He was instrumental in the development and support of the current system for assessing farmland value in the State of Illinois.

Dwight is an extension specialist for the University of Illinois and has assisted Illinois farmers and landowners with farm financial management, tax matters, estate planning, and investment analysis since 1987. Dwight joined The Loranda Group in 2002 and consults with a variety of clients, including private landowners, government agencies, financial institutions, attorneys, other fiduciaries, and both private and public companies.

He is a member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and the Illinois and National Associations of Farm Business Farm Management Analysis Specialists.

An active member and board president of the FarmHouse Fraternity, Dwight lives in St. Joseph, Illinois, with his wife and three children.
