Eric was raised on a cash grain farm in west-central Illinois. It was here that he developed a passion for hunting and the outdoors. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Finance, and it is his collective experience and education that allows him to quickly and effectively analyze the recreational land market.
While at the University of Illinois, Eric was involved in a variety of campus activities. Eric was an active member in the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, the Finance Club, and many other activities in the College of ACES, formerly College of Agriculture. He was also a member of Rho Epsilon, a real estate student association.
Eric brings his clients a wealth of knowledge and experience in the recreational real estate market. While a member of Kennedy-Sarff Real Estate, LLC, he helped market many recreational properties in the very active hunting area of west-central Illinois. As the assistant manager for the Rainbow Duck Club, Eric was in charge of creating and maintaining habitats for a diverse set of wildlife species. Through this exposure, he learned how quality hunting land can greatly improve hunting enjoyment. Eric is also an avid lifelong hunter and is a member of numerous wildlife preservation societies, including Ducks Unlimited and Whitetails Unlimited. Eric’s unique combination of education and recreational experiences allows him to effectively assist both buyers and sellers.
Eric joined The Loranda Group in 2004 as a licensed Illinois real estate agent and assists clients with the purchase, analysis, and sale of recreational properties.
