DWIGHT RAAB  

Dwight Raab is an associate appraiser with The Loranda Group and is recognized as one of the leading experts on farmland assessment. Dwight was instrumental in the development and support of the current system for assessing farmland in the State of Illinois. He possesses a wealth of experience and expertise relating to the valuation of Midwestern farmland and traditional land, and he developed both education programs and management analysis software to assist extension management consultants in counseling Illinois farmers. Dwight is an extension specialist for the University of Illniois and has assisted Illinois farmers and landowners with farm financial management, tax matters, estate planning, and investment analysis since 1987.

Dwight joined Loranda in 2002 and performs quality appraisals, valuation, education, and consulting work for a variety of clients, including private landowners, government agencies, financial institutions, attorneys, other fiduciaries, and both private and public companies. He is licensed as both an associate appraiser and real estate salesperson in Illinois and is a member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and the Illinois and National Association of Farm Business Farm Management Analysis Specialists. An active member and board president of the FarmHouse Fraternity, Dwight lives in St. Joseph, Illinois, with his wife and three children.
